Hello lovely crafters! I'm having a major clear out here and I'm about to take a car load of stuff to the charity shop ♥ It really does feel great to de-clutter!
It's hard to part with yarn but I've got to give in. I picked up this beautiful bright mohair with good intentions but I've yet to make anything with it, and being honest I know I'm probably never going to.
So there's no point in it being stuck in my yarn stash is there! I'm certain one of you could make something absolutely lovely with it, and it's also a way to say thank you because I could probably sell it but I'd like to give it away.

A bit about the mohair, I believe the yellow and red are Hayfield Mohair but the green is Jaeger Mohair silk, although I don't think you'd be able to tell that they're different brands.

Such pretty colours! I was just looking through a crochet book last night and found a pretty waves design for a cushion, it was hooked in mohair and looked so soft and lovely...so that's what I would make with these if I won. I've also done a big charity clear-out this weekend, must be that time of year...thank you for hosting this lovely giveaway! Chrissie x

DeleteOooh, you had me at mohair but kidsilk too, f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! With the red, I would make a 'Booknits' shawl for the upcoming KAL entitled 'Fragile Heart', which she is organising to alert women to the symptoms of heart attacks. Then with the gold, I would knit a Shetland Lace scarf from the book 'The Magic of Shetland Lace' for a friend's birthday and finally, with the wonderful kidsilk I would knit something glorious just for me (pattern to be decided!).Thanks for hosting this fantastic giveaway, Nicole. DeleteThank you for the chance! I'd make three matching scarves, a teal scarf for myself, a red one for my sister and a yellow scarf for my mom. I have this great pattern that uses very little yarn and makes a very light, airy scarf like a cobweb, and it's also very simple to knit. I think there's also some angora in my stash in very similar colors to make fluffy fringes.
